Ann O’Neill presented a not only an informative, but a truly inspiring speech to years 10 and 11 students for International Women’s Day.
Dr O’Neill spoke about her life-changing story of domestic violence and how it motivated her to accomplish the amazing things she does today.
She also informed us about what to do when you or a person you know is in an abusive relationship and the importance of equality and respect in relationships.
Dr O’Neill also explained what respectful relationships were and what they consisted of.
She is a clear demonstration to all of us that you can achieve great things when you put your mind to it and work hard, no matter what hardship you have been through.
We thank Dr O’Neill for coming in to speak to us and for motivating us to push to be the best versions of ourselves and help others in times of need.
