Witnesses sought

Police are appealing for additional witnesses to the damage of the Baddaginnie CFA fire-hose stand between December 8 and 9.

The report is there were three offenders jumping on the metal stand, which has been damaged.

Solar theft probe

Police are requesting further assistance in their investigating into the theft of solar panels, and lights from the Winton Wetlands between October 8 and November 24.

The equipment was used to illuminate the artistic displays within the Winton Wetlands for visitors, and the removal would have required a utility or similar car.

Benalla police want to remind the community to report suspicious behaviour during the Christmas period, after an increase in theft from unlocked cars in the Benalla.

It is easier to lock your car, then to replace stolen property and personal items.
