The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) will share grant seeking tips and insights at free workshops at the Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Learning Centre on 28 February 2018.

The sessions are to assist community groups and individuals who are preparing funding applications, including to the Council’s Community Grants Program, which closes on 21 March 2018.

The FRRR is a significant grant distributor, having provided 81 grants worth $567 000 across Benalla Rural City since its establishment in 2000.

Mayor Cr Don Firth said grant funding is an important way for community groups and organisations to raise funds.

“I encourage people to attend this session and explore how to make the most of their funding application, said Cr Firth.

‘We are pleased the FRRR is joining us at the session to provide direct support to the Benalla community.”

The sessions run from 6 pm – 8 pm. To book your place, contact the Council’s Customer Service Centre on 03 5760 2600 or email [email protected]
