The Benalla Racing Club has partnered with ANZ to give back to the community and help out the racing club in the process.
The initiative will provide the racing club with a percentage of ANZ home loans that they have recommended.
All you have to do is mention to ANZ that the racing club has recommended their home loan services, and a percentage of that will be given to the racing club with no extra charge to the individual or anyone involved.
No information about the loan will be shared by ANZ and you will remain completely anonymous.
The initiative was introduced to connect ANZ with sports clubs and provide an opportunity for the Benalla Racing Club to cash in on this great opportunity and give back to the community.
Benalla Racing Club manager Cameron Symes is thrilled with the partnership.
‘‘It’s just great for the community. A local organisation like us can give back to the community and it’s a great way to link the sporting clubs and businesses together,’’ he said.
The initiative has provided the racing club with more than $6000 this financial year and with the partnership getting stronger by the month that number is expected to be even higher this year.
‘‘We are always looking at ways to get this money back into the community by various charities and organisations. It’s been really successful so far and we owe it all to ANZ for putting it into place,’’ Cameron said.
The successful partnership should urge other organisation and sporting clubs to come together and find ways to benefit each other and the community.
This Friday is midweek racing at Benalla Racing Club. Entry is $10. First race at 1.30pm, the last at 5.25pm. Gates open at noon.
