Benalla Rural City Council and the Goulburn Broken Greenhouse Alliance (GBGA) are hosting a free Electric Vehicle Forum today from 1.30pm to 3pm at the Glasshouse Lakeside Community Centre.

●The forum also includes an EV demonstration.
The event is an opportunity to discover and discuss environmental and economic advantages associated with electric vehicles, technology advances, public perception and electric vehicle infrastructure requirements.
Alliance executive officer Bronwyn Chapman said the advances in electric vehicle technology were showing potential for regional users.
‘‘The industry is on the cusp of expansion and better availability of these vehicles,’’ Ms Chapman said.
‘‘Understanding more about these vehicles will help people and businesses consider their options and be ready to take advantage of rapid development.’’
The forum will give local people the opportunity to hear from a range of guest speakers and to view an electric vehicle demonstration.
