Round 7 Results:

Under-10

Under-10 v Mooroopna 2:1 Win.

Under-10s had yet another fantastic game with all players trying their best. A lot of good runs down the field and many near goals.

Goals: Olly Gillies, Zac Fennell.

Awards: Xavier Watson, Ben Fennell, Jacinta Woodward.

Under-16

Under-16 v Mooroopna 3:1 Loss. Under-16s played a great game with lots of good passing and link ups, however, were not able to capitalise. Nathan scored the goal after a nice set up by Alex White.

Subway voucher went to Ankur who played great, made lots of great tackles and ran with the ball well.

B-Women

Women v Strikers 5:1 Win.

The women took to the field with 10 players with many feeling under the weather. They stood their ground well and kept control.

Some great free hits from the backline resulted in some swift passes into the circle and four deflected goals from Cindy Findlow.

Willow Plex received a pass and had a solid hit to earn a goal.

Goals: Cindy Findlow 4, Willow Plex.

B-Men

Men v Strikers 2:1 Win.

The men took on a strong Strikers side on Friday night, Benalla having 12 players and the Strikers set to out run Benalla with 16 players.

The game started fast with Benalla keeping control of the game with beautiful passing.

Strikers scored the first goal from a loose ball in the D, this led Benalla to attack.

In the second half Benalla broke through with Sean Trevaskis working his way into the goal with some brilliant play.

This was followed by a second by Rob Dean cleverly positioning himself on the top of the D and taking on the goalie 1 on 1 to come away with the goal.

Goals: Rob Dean, Sean Trevaskis.
