A 10 year-old girl, her father and a 60 year old woman are in hospital after a serious crash on the Benalla-Tocumwal Rd near Goorambat yesterday (Thursday, July 11).
The father and daughter were travelling north on the Benalla-Tocumwal Rd at around 3pm (time to be confirmed) when a car failed to give way at the junction of Sharp Rd colliding with the driver's side of their 4WD, which was travelling at 100 km/h.
The 10 year-old girl was ejected from the 4WD and pinned under it, eventually being released by emergency services. She was then airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
Miraculously all three are now listed as stable. With the father and the driver of the other car both being treated at Wangaratta Hospital.
The 10 year-old girl is being treated for multiple fractures, bad lacerations and associated injuries.
The father is being treated for head injuries and the driver of the other car is being treated for multiple fractures.
