Shortly before a car and 4WD were involved in a serious accident just outside Goorambat a P-plate driver crashed on the Old Thoona Rd.
The 18 year-old driver and her 17 year-old passenger were both taken to Wangaratta Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver failed to negotiate the s-bend and the car rolled once coming to a stop near the train line.
Police said both avoided serious injury thanks to the airbags deploying.
Benalla Police released a statement reminding people to drive to the conditions and limit possible distractions.
