Darren McLoughlin won three games and won the day with 27 hoops. Two players won their two games with Andy Davis scoring 22 and Brad Fawns with 21 hoops.
There were seven jump shots for the day. Kyle Mula and Darren McLoughlin each had three and Andy Davis had one.
Ten players represented Deni at the Rich River Social Day on Tuesday. It was a great day with more than 50 players competing.
Deniliquin’s John James was the outright winner. The other nine players all did well with everyone enjoying the day and cool weather.
A small group of 10 players took to the courts in Deniliquin with no three game winners on Wednesday.
Six players won two of their games with scores of 20 or more.
Allan Tonta won the day with 23 hoops, Brad Fawns was close behind with 22, Faye Harrington and John James each had 21 with Dot Murphy and Gwen Pearn scoring 20.
Allan Tonta ran a very handy hoop-in-one and John James showed his skills with four jump shots.
Players wishing to take part in the Deniliquin Social Day on the Wednesday, March 27 need to add their name to the list by Sunday.
Everyone is reminded that the club will require slices or cakes for afternoon tea. If you have a raffle prize to donate, bring it along to croquet as soon as possible.
The club would like to see more names down for the singles championships held on Sunday, March 31. Be sure to add your name to the list if you wish to play.
