Input from community members in shaping the future of Tooborac, Pyalong and surrounding areas will be celebrated with a free barbecue lunch.
The celebration is part of an annual community program and will showcase the Tooborac and Pyalong community plans which are taking shape following community input earlier in the year.
The event will take place at Tooborac Recreation Reserve from 11 am to 2 pm on February 29.
People from Tooborac and Pyalong communities are encouraged to join the celebration which will include a free barbecue with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options.
You can bring a chair or picnic blanket and meet up with local groups and clubs, while the young people are entertained with free activities including face painting, bubblecraft, a spray art workshop and a jumping castle.
The celebration is an opportunity for people to have some further input into community plans which highlight the top priorities for the townships.
The plans were developed in partnership with the Tooborac and Pyalong communities with actions that can be taken by each community to promote and enhance the unique character of the local areas.
