The new artwork will complement the current artwork on the concrete silo and continue the World War I theme, with a light horseman to be painted from Friday, April 5.
Mr Scale last year painted a World War I nurse and a modern day army medic on the town’s concrete silo to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War I.
The new artwork is expected to be completed by Saturday, April 13 with an official opening taking place in Devenish on Sunday, April 14.
Devenish Silo Art Committee member Kevin Mitchell said the official opening would include a street parade through the town from 11am, featuring people dressed as World War I nurses as well as 1920s cars and army cadets.
A service by Shepparton and Yarrawonga Mulwala RSL members will follow the street parade at noon, with visitors welcome to dress in line with the early 20th century theme.
‘‘It will be a big day and as always we’re looking to remember the sacrifices made by young people during the war,’’ Mr Mitchell said.
The Devenish silo was the third silo in northern Victoria to be painted, joining the emerging silo art trail which now includes silo art in Tungamah, Goorambat, Devenish and Rochester.
