It was always going to be a hard day for Violet Town, coming up against a well-drilled Dookie United and that it was, with Dookie taking out a 31-goal win.
Dookie started well and it took the first quarter for Violet Town to get into the game and garner a little bit of momentum.
Violet Town kept working hard all day in defence, picking up a lot of the ball, while the players finished the game off well, achieving the goal they put out for themselves that quarter.

B-grade
Dookie United proved too strong for the Towners, finishing with a 32-goal win in the Kyabram District League.

C-grade
Determined to put up a fight against top side Dookie, C-grade came out strong in the first quarter. While Dookie only had a small lead in the second quarter, the Towners continued to put the pressure on.
Defenders Erin Dawson and Kirsten Bowles played a tight quarter which saw Dookie’s goalers make a number of misses, but the Towners’ attackers struggled to get momentum in the second half with Dookie increasing its lead.

Under-15
After working on court plays and positioning during the week, the Towners came out and put them into practice.
They all worked as a team and led from the start of the game, to take a 20-goal win over Dookie.
Amber and Ellie kept the shooters under pressure all game, Macey dominated in the centre along with Alannah and Ella, each providing great leads and defence.
And Tash and Jenni were also on fire, their accuracy sharp, as they moved and worked the ring well.
