This weeks game was a strong contest all day. The winners were the defenders never give up attitude and some impressive intercepts. Sensational leading from midcourt, resulting in some impressive passages of play.
Tough fight girls, the team will get another go in a few weeks.
PS. The scribe loved seeing an under 13s pivot from Steph Hammond!

The battle between 2nd and 3rd place was expected to be a hard fought one, and the match certainly didn’t disappoint.
The Lions girls came out firing and were solid from the start, but it soon became apparent Tongala were hungry for the win.
Unfortunately injuries took their toll this week with Hollie Bartlett and Leah Mathieson unable to finish out the game but Taylah Seccull stepped up and slotted into goals with Hollie McNamara. There was only 1 goal in it with 3 minutes to go but the momentum shifted in Tongala’s favour when it counted most and the Lions couldn’t bring home the points this time. Great game by all.

Fake tans and fresh hair were on point but unfortunately the game wasn’t. The early start for ladies day caught the team napping which let Tonny get the upper hand early in the game.
To the team’s credit, everyone kept their heads up and continued to work hard for the entire game. Tahlia held her own in the goals and Mickala fought hard in defence.
Melissa was voted players player for her great game and is sure to use the mug well.

The Mulwala girls hands down played one of their best games of the season. Defence worked tirelessly all day and proved strong.
Midcourt worked well together, voices on the court were loud and the 17s made their coaches proud. Well done 17s.

A great first quarter of netball with both teams starting strong. Mulwala worked hard all day, especially in the midcourt where Taylah and Jemma read the play perfectly, moving to space and chasing down any loose balls.
Charlotte in GA and Maisee in GD were as dependable as ever, driving to the ball with great hands over pressure and taking countless intercepts.
Well done girls, it was a great game to watch.

With the Frank Greens lined up, the girls were well hydrated for the game.
Chips and gravy made a short appearance during warm up which quickly disappeared with the team effort. All ready and fired up to take the court, like lining up for Justin Bieber tickets, the girls came out strong but unfortunately were defeated in the end.
Each girl walked away with their heads high, just like the words of Daft Punk, the Under 13s will come back next week ‘harder, better, faster, stronger.’
Awards: Zambreros - Pheonix Kennedy, Paradise Palms - Ruby Sneddon.
Under 11s
A very tight start for the girls in the first quarter. The girls brought the ball well down the court and all did what they needed to do.
Big game next week with a few players away. Let’s bring it against Rumbalara.
