Country music star Amber Lawrence has offered her time to the Deniliquin community to help foster a love of music and inspire young musicians.
Lawrence will perform at three separate events in Deniliquin in early August, with two specifically aimed at young people and free to attend.
In one performance she will have Deniliquin High School students as her band, with the students given until the August 2 performance to learn the music she provided to the school.
The following day, a free children’s concert will be hosted at South West Music’s new regional conservatorium, in the former Commonwealth Bank building in Cressy St, Deniliquin.
Lawrence will also perform at a Deniliquin Club Muso Night on Friday, August 2.
A crowd favourite with adult audiences where she performs, Lawrence has also developed a series of school-based programs designed to motivate young people and help them with their songwriting and music skills. She has also produced children’s albums.
She has been a Deniliquin Ute Muster performer over several years on the main stage, and last year also catered specifically to families with her children’s show on the day stage.
