By Zoe McMaugh

Landmark Property & Water started their Deniliquin Junior Lawn Tennis Club competition on the right foot with a win against Kiss My Ace in the season opener on Saturday.

James Selleck, Henry Knox and Max Ferguson each secured big wins in the singles to finish close out the day six sets 38 games to KMA's two sets 23.

There was only one three set winner from the clash with Max Ferguson unbeaten on the day.

It was one-way traffic in the clash between Marshall Electrical and Murray Constructions, with Marshall winning seven sets 36 games to one set 16 games.

Marshall claimed victory in all four doubles games, before winning three of the four singles battles.

William McKern was the lone winner for Murray, defeating Ben Crossley 4-0 in their singles clash.

Three set winners on the day all came from Marshall Electrical with Will Croker, Austin Armytage and Thomas McKern all standing tall.
