Heathcote and Community Bank Branch invite you to ‘Pitch to the Community’

By Vanessa Wiltshire

ARE you interested in learning about exciting projects that are planned for the community?

You’re invited to attend Heathcote and District Community Bank branch’s first ever ‘Pitch to the Community’ session.

What is it all about?

Applicants to the branch’s 2019 Community Grants program will be presenting their ideas to the public at 6pm on Tuesday, November 26 at the Barrack Reserve.

Each group will have five minutes to showcase their proposed project in any way they wish — this could be a video, an interview, a song or dance — they’ve been encouraged to get creative!

The community is invited to come along to the session to hear all about the projects that these groups have in the pipeline and will be given the opportunity to vote for their favourite with a ‘People’s Choice’ award of $250 to be presented to the most popular project.

RSVPs to the session are appreciated for catering purposes and can be made to (03) 5433 3115 or by emailing [email protected]

Applications to the Community Grants program are being assessed separately by the branch’s volunteer board of directors and successful applicants will be announced early December.
