She will be signing copies of her new book Chyka Celebrate - an essential read for all those who love to entertain.
Each page is unique, designed in Chyka's unmistakable style and offers a guide to themed entertainment throughout the year.
Rustik Owner Julie Brown said she had always admired Chyka as a business woman.
“I had been at one of her previous book signings and had been really impressed, so I signed up to her blog,” Ms Brown said.
“When her new book was announced I got an email and in there it asked if any retailers would be interested in hosting a book signing.
“I honestly thought there was no chance she would come to Benalla but I decided I may as well send an email and see what happens.
“I hadn't heard anything for about two weeks and had almost forgotten I'd been in contact when I received an email from her publisher.
“They asked to see our social media accounts and put forward a few questions for me to answer - which I did.
“Then we got an email saying she wanted to come to Rustik.”
Since that day Ms Brown had been busy arranging the signing and said she was using it as an opportunity to launch Rustik's latest range of products.
“When people arrive there will be a wine tasting featuring a Dalzotto Pink Prosecco and a Premium Organic Italian Prosecco from Epik Wines,” Ms Brown said.
“We will also have some nibbles, which will showcase our dairy and gluten-free options.
“We’ve really changed our direction in the last couple of years and started stocking items for different diets.”
Ms Brown said the idea for stocking these came about as she could not have gluten or dairy and had struggled to find somewhere to eat out.
“I know people with other dietary requirements and they were struggling too,” she said.
“That put me on this new path as I figured there would be plenty of people in that position.
“So we started to look for products that not only address these needs, but also taste great.
“And we've grown that side of the business ever since.
“For example we had some requests for vegan food, so we started stocking vegan options.
“Now we have a lot of regular customers who are coeliac or gluten intolerant or vegan.
“We like the idea that a whole group with different dietary needs can come to Rustik and find something for everyone.
“And we always recommend all our menu items as regardless of them being coeliac or vegan, they taste great.”
On top of an extensive and varied cafe menu Ms Brown offers a range of items for people to use at home.
“About 85 per cent of the items we sell in our produce store are available on the menu,” she said.
“It helps us showcase these products and gives people an idea of how they can be used.
“So we thought whilst we have Chyka here it would be a great opportunity to show off our latest range.”
The book signing will be held at Rustik on Bridge St from 3.30pm on Friday (October 18).
“It will only be a short visit, but people won't need to book,” Ms Brown said.
“Just pop along on Friday, we'll have copies of the book available to buy, you can get it signed and have a chat with Chyka.
“I think it would make a great Christmas present for anyone stuck trying to find that perfect gift.
“Overall I think it's really great that Chyka is coming to Benalla. I know she's really excited as her book tour rarely takes her into regional or rural areas.”
