At a glance, observers could have been mistaken that St Joseph’s, Cobram, had been overtaken by dozens of centurions on Wednesday, August 3.
A second glance, however, would have shown that what may have appeared to be a bunch of elderly men and women returning to school, was actually St Joseph’s Foundation students celebrating the important 100 day milestone.
Pupils and teachers marked the key occasion by dressing as 100-year-olds and taking part in a range of activities that were all about the number 100.
Teacher Teresa Allen said there were many convincing costumes on the day.
“We had many creative costumes, walking sticks and grey hair,” she said.
“We even enjoyed a cake that was made into the shape of 100 covered in Smarties, because they are now 100 days smarter!”
Mrs Allen, Miss Eddy and Miss Stacey, are so proud of them and all they have achieved.
