JEV vaccine rollout expanded

Up River Road resident Mick Humpreys who was infected with Japanese Encephalitis Virus in March, has welcomed the news about the vaccine expansion but said anyone who wants the vaccine should be given the opportunity to have it.

People aged between 50 and 65 who work outdoors and live in the Federation Council and Indigo Shire Local Government Area (LGA) are now eligible to receive the Japanese Encephalitis (JEV) vaccine.
