A teenager was flown to hospital in Melbourne after a quad bike rollover at Benalla on Tuesday, August 16.
CFA District 23 assistant chief fire officer Rod Railton said emergency services, including the CFA, were called to a private property in Kealy Rd, Benalla, at 5.15pm.
A four-wheel motorbike had rolled in a paddock, landing on top of the girl, who is in her late teens.
Mr Railton said the vehicle had been moved off the girl before emergency services arrived, but firefighters had to help carry her on a stretcher out of the paddock, which was too boggy to get vehicles into.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the girl was airlifted to The Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition with suspected lower body injuries.
