Shuttle Masters smashes through to place in badminton grand final

The semi-finals of the Deniliquin Badminton Club summer competition were played on Monday evening at Deniliquin stadium.

In the qualifying match, Shuttle Masters were too strong for Smashers, winning 346-318.

Congratulations to team Shuttle Masters who have now secured a place in the grand final on May 30.

Three game winners for Shuttle Masters were Declan Luks and Steve O'Neill.

In the elimination match, both Racqueteers and Badminators were determined to secure a spot in the preliminary final.

The Racqueteers won with a score of 352-323.

Badminators are now eliminated from the competition.

Congratulations to Mark Jeffrey and Pradeep Wilson for winning three games each for team Racqueteers.

In the preliminary final on Monday, May 23, Smashers will play Racqueteers.
