After publishing an original Anzac Day poem by local man Dave Donehue, TheEnsign was approached by Michael O'Brien who submitted a poem he wrote over his morning coffee on Friday.
That poem, Cloudburst, will be the first in a new Ensign regular feature called "Benalla Poets Corner".

Cloudburst
by Michael O'Brien

returning her lovers once more the placid lakeas the soul of humanity sets to gradually wake
