The local share market has climbed to its highest level in two weeks, with every sector either gaining ground or finishing flat despite a droopy lead from Wall Street.

The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index on Monday rose 41.3 points, or 0.53 per cent, at 7,811.9, finishing just 35.1 points under its all-time high set on March 8.
The broader All Ordinaries climbed 45.2 points, or 0.56 per cent, to 8,071.5.
The Australian dollar was buying 65.26 US cents, from 65.24 US cents at Friday's ASX close.
