Established in 1964 by a group of local farmers, EFD began with a vision of connecting the agricultural industry with the latest machinery, technology and innovation.
While the annual field days remain at the heart of the organisation, EFD has continued to grow and evolve well beyond its original event.
Today, EFD owns and operates the Elmore Events Centre, Elmore Equestrian Park, Elmore Tractor Pull and Elmore Jet Boats, while also actively working to attract major events, competitions, rallies, festivals, trade shows and other activities to the region.
From national horse events and caravan rallies to music festivals, product launches and training days, the organisation’s facilities provide a base for a diverse range of events throughout the year.
It is this willingness to think beyond the traditional field days and create new opportunities for the region that has ultimately paved the way for the Elmore Jet Boats project.
