The Benalla community is once again being besieged by nuisance phone calls.

The Ensign office, on average, has been receiving about five calls a day from what sounds like an international call-centre talking about the solar rebate.
Although residents across the rural city have been experiencing calls from a number of different sources.
Last week The Ensign put a call out on social media to see if any other businesses or homes in town were getting these calls - and the response was incredible.
New warning against online scammers
We received 48 comments and three inbox messages from people and businesses saying they were also receiving calls.
And as with The Ensign, most were still receiving calls once requesting to be taken off the callers list.
When we received a call today (Tuesday) I interviewed the man on the phone to see if he could shine any light on the situation.
I said we had already asked to be taken off their call-list, and inquired as to why we were still receiving calls.
"This is the first time I have called," the man, who said his name was Kevin, replied.
"If you have solar panels you will receive these calls."
I responded by saying we don't have solar panels.
"Yes, you don't have solar, that is why I am ringing."
The fact his story changed within 20 seconds is a red-light, and perhaps an indication that this is a scam.
I subsequently explained that he was phoning a newspaper and I would like to interview him.
At this point the line went dead.
And our experience appears to be similar to what other local people have experienced.
Anne-Marie Greenway of Goorambat said her household had received a number of calls.
"We get several per day on the landline and now do not even answer that phone," Ms Greenway said.
"They never leave a message. You can usually tell when it is from a call-centre because of the pause at the beginning when the machine which automatically dials many numbers at once recognises the call has been answered and redirects to an operator.
"If I do pick it up I always tell them we have solar, which we do, and ask to be removed from their list.
"They usually hang up, occasionally they say something very rude before hanging up.
"In the past few weeks we have had some calls which start by asking if we have solar then trying to sell us an upgrade - despite the fact we tell them the panels have only been there a matter of months - it's incredibly annoying.
"I’m so glad they have not managed to get hold of our mobile numbers yet. They always seem to know our names and everything."
And it's not just Ms Greenway having these issues. Nicole McDonald commented on The Ensign post.
"Its a bit beyond a joke," she said.
"(We) get at least one a day sometimes up to three. Work today has had about 10."
And there were many more comments in a similar vein.
The advice we have received is that if you continue to get nuisance calls to contact your telco provider.
If calls continue you can register your complaint with the relevant ombudsman.
We would like to also remind the public that while there were red-flags that perhaps indicate the calls The Ensign received might be a scam, we would like to remind people that we do have several solar companies in town who are legitimate and are not bombarding people with calls.
Please do not allow calls like this to affect your opinion of legitimate local small businesses.
