The exhibition is a response to an international exchange arranged by between Beacon artists who are based in a similar-sized town in New York State.
Postcards from Beacon, NY, were exhibited at NEA throughout July, and the latest exhibition will showcase local examples, which will be sent for display in the US.
Artists from across the north east were invited to participate in the response, which will be on display in Gallery 2 next month
Beacon, much like Benalla, is a town of about 15 000 people.
It also echoes the town in that Beacon is a central hub for arts across its region.
The town is highly respected by artists who travel from all around the world to attend workshops.
The Riverwinds Gallery will exhibit postcards from North East Artisans to celebrate the partnership that has been forged between the two.
The exhibition represents a great opportunity for the community with local artists given the opportunity to have their work displayed at a respected international gallery.
Exhibition Coordinator Irina Korotkow said this was a great opportunity for the local community.
"Regional artists will see their work travel and be exhibited in an international space," Ms Korotkow said.
"The community will (also) be able to purchase internationally exhibited artworks at an accessible price."
That price has been set at only $50.
The exhibition is on display at NEA, 122 Bridge Street, Benalla, from September 3 to 28.
