Geoff joined Manchester Lodge in Corryong in September 1949 before employment brought him to Benalla.
He was a member of the Benalla Lodge until its closure before joining lodges in Wangaratta, Wodonga and Shepparton.
In his time he has served as a district officer for two terms of three years.
In 2009 he won an Allen Scott Award, one of the organisation's most prestigious.
He was awarded a certificate to mark his 70 years service by Grand Master of Manchester Unity in Victoria Karen Tussup.
“I was delighted to present Bro Draper with the Certificate for the work he has given to his lodge, district and to Manchester Unity in general over the past 70 years,” Ms Tussup said.
A certificate was presented to Geoff at Bertallis Bakery last week.
“It was an honour to receive recognition form my service,” Geoff said.
“We had a casual meet-up at the bakery with about 20 people.
“Then we went over to Tatong for lunch, it was a great day.
“I think I might be the longest-serving member in Victoria now.
“I know of one man over in Corryong who is older than me, but I don't think he's been involved for as long as I have.”
