The gallery, which has been closed since March because of COVID-19, reopened with two exhibitions.

Conditions of entry apply to everyone entering the gallery and include contact tracing, social distancing and following the directions of staff.
This is for the safety of staff, gallery patrons and the broader community.
Mayor Danny Claridge said while it was exciting to be reopening the gallery, the safety of all people remained top priority.
“I know people have missed having the gallery open and being able to reopen this wonderful community asset is significant,” Cr Claridge said.

“People are generally respectful of the conditions of entry we are required to open under, and I thank people for that,” he said.
The Munro and Sargeant Gallery Café will remain closed for the time being.
