All the way from Thomas Hogan Rehabilitation Centre at Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW), Fay was able to attend her grandson’s wedding by video or Zoom, in Montville Queensland, about an hour north of Brisbane.
“I could see the excitement on my grandson’s face as he was waiting,” Fay said.

“And I could see all my family arrive at the chapel, my son, his family and many others, because I arrived well ahead of time.
“My husband was linked in from Freemasons in Benalla,” Fay added with the joy of the day clearly seen on her face and heard in her voice.
With Fay undergoing major surgery a couple of weeks earlier, thoughtful bridegroom Craig spoke with nurse Mollie at NHW and arranged the Zoom link.

On the day Kirsty, rehabilitation nurse come wedding planner, oversaw preparations to get Fay to the wedding on time, and suitably attired complete with corsage which arrived by post from family in Queensland.
