The handles - Onepercent, Motion and Work - may be linked to a spate of arson attacks on licensed venues in Melbourne earlier in the year police say.
Investigators on Thursday urged anyone who has had any contact with the handles to come forward.
Organised crime groups are increasingly tasking young people with carrying out violent acts on their behalf over encrypted apps and messenger services.
Police launched Operation Eclipse in April after several venues including Bar Bambi in Melbourne's CBD and The George Hotel in South Melbourne were allegedly firebombed.
Detective Acting Inspector Simon Pengelly from the Armed Crime Squad said the offending put all Victorians at risk.
"Tasking criminal offences while hidden behind an online platform is not a faceless crime," he said.
"This offending is a top priority for Victoria Police."
On Wednesday, a 19-year-old Tarneit man was charged as part of an investigation into incidents potentially linked to the targeting of hospitality venues.
He was charged over an April 22 incident in which a number of males forced entry into a Springvale address shortly after 5am, allegedly kidnapping another man.
Police will allege the man was forced into a vehicle and seriously assaulted, including the partial amputation of one his fingers, in an attempt to gain information about the whereabouts of another man with links to the security industry.
The 19 year-old was charged with offences including aggravated home invasion, intentionally causing injury and kidnapping.
He was due to face Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
In July, detectives swooped on a property in Essendon, in Melbourne's north west, and arrested 20-year-old Jesse Hadchiti, in relation to the arson attacks.
Hadchiti allegedly ordered a number of high profile attacks on behalf of a notorious crime syndicate linked to Kazem Hamad, using the online handle, Commbank.
Hadchiti came up with the handle based on the amount of wealth he was handling in the organisation, police said at the time.
Despite his young age, police alleged Hadchiti was a high-ranking representative within the syndicate and had been in control of tasking crimes out using encrypted applications.
He was also charged in relation to an alleged home invasion in the southeast Melbourne suburb of Malvern on April 14.
