The opening show is on Friday, June 19 at the Benalla Town Hall.
Packed with comedy, colourful characters and well-known hit songs, the musical tells the story of Arthur’s journey to becoming king.
Along the way, he receives plenty of magical assistance from the wise Merlin, but not everything goes according to plan thanks to the scheming Magenta, who is determined to stand in his way.
The production promises plenty of laughs as audiences follow Arthur’s adventures through a series of entertaining twists and turns.
Adding to the fun is a soundtrack featuring popular favourites, including Don’t Stop Me Now, Crocodile Rock, Shake a Tail Feather, and I’m a Believer, performed by the talented local cast.
Directors and cast members have been working hard to bring the story to life, combining lively music, energetic choreography and plenty of theatrical magic to create an enjoyable experience for audiences of all ages.
Seven performances will be staged across two weekends, including four evening performances and three matinées.
All performances, except for the Sunday matinée, will feature cabaret-style seating, with audience members encouraged to bring their own drinks and nibbles to enjoy during the performance, making for a fun and social theatre outing.
Tickets are available via stickytickets.com.au or from outside Bendigo Bank on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11.30am and 2.30pm.
Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
