For more than three decades, Winsec Savings & Loans has been providing financial services to the regional Victorian community. Established in 1990, Winsec is based in Wangaratta and offers services across investments, lending and home loan broking.
One option available through Winsec is a fixed-term investment, designed for investors who are prepared to commit their funds for an agreed period in return for interest.
Winsec is currently promoting a 9-month fixed-term investment at 6% p.a., subject to conditions. Fixed-term investments can also be available across a range of terms, from 60 days through to 36 months, allowing investors to consider a timeframe that suits their circumstances.
According to Winsec, fixed-term investments require a minimum balance of $500. Interest on terms of nine months or less is paid at maturity, while longer-term investments can have different interest payment arrangements.
Winsec also provides information to help prospective investors understand how its investment products operate. Its investment FAQs cover topics including available terms, minimum investments, how interest is paid and what happens when an investment reaches maturity.
As with any investment, understanding the product before committing your money is important. Winsec Notes are not bank deposits, and Winsec states that investments involve risk. Prospective investors should read the current Prospectus in full before making an investment decision.
