The buildings are a timely arrival, as the college has experienced significant growth in recent years, including the addition of years 7 and 8 classes.
ACC principal Terry Harding said the new buildings would not only provide staff and students with the much-needed extra space.
“It will also provide students with greater diversity in educational experiences,” Dr Harding said.

Year 2-3 teacher Alison Stephens said everyone at the college was excited.
“The new buildings will give us opportunities for collaborative learning, cross grouping, staff collegiality and room for growth,” Ms Stephens said.
Dr Harding thanked the Commonwealth Government for its assistance with the project.
“I am grateful to the Commonwealth Government for providing funds that contributed to the purchase and installation of the buildings,” he said.

“Also, the Victorian Independent Schools Block Grant Authority has been very helpful in both allocating this funding and guiding us through this process.
“Our students have been very excited about their new classrooms.
“They have documented the whole process as a media project, starting from the original soil testing, to the recent installation of the units.”
The new buildings are being serviced by local contractors, so they will be ready for classes in Term 4.
