The Benalla Festival Advisory Committee has extended the period for interested individuals, groups and organisations to run an event or activity as part of the Benalla Festival program to Wednesday, August 7.
A celebration of Benalla Rural City’s lifestyle, country living and community spirit, the Benalla Festival is a community collaboration to celebrate and embrace all that is great about our region through music, dance, art, history, sport, family attractions and exhibitions.
Running for more than 50 years, the festival is a major event on the Benalla Rural City community calendar. This year, the event theme is ‘Hidden Gems’.
The festival program will highlight the rural communities with events across rural townships during the first weekend from Saturday, November 2, to Sunday, November 3.
The second weekend will feature events in Benalla from Friday, November 8, to Sunday, November 10.
Applications for event proposals close on Wednesday, August 7.
