Benalla Rural City Council extended its warmest thanks to everyone who joined in, helping create a joyful and memorable celebration for the whole community.
Three-year-old, Max Hanson, had a great time at the Benalla Community Christmas Party.
Families enjoyed a free barbecue, prepared by the Rotary Club of Benalla, along with face painting, games and Christmas-themed art activities supplied by the Benalla Art Gallery.
The photobooth, provided by Capture Your Moment and generously sponsored by Anna Greenhalgh Estate Agent, was a hit with all ages.
The excitement peaked with a visit from Santa himself, transported all the way from the North Pole by dedicated SES volunteers.
Benalla Mayor Bernie Hearn, who had the privilege attending, said it was wonderful to see the community come together to celebrate the festive season.
Face Painting by Jeanie was very popular at the Benalla Community Christmas Party.
“It was a fantastic night at the splash park, with families and friends taking the time to enjoy the evening together,” Cr Hearn said.
“I want to thank everyone who came along, our incredible volunteers and our partners who helped bring this fantastic evening to life.”
“Events like this remind us of the strength and kindness of our community. It’s a privilege to celebrate alongside so many local families.”
The evening also featured the announcement of the 2025 Business Window Christmas Competition winners:

“Our local businesses have once again outdone themselves,” Cr Hearn said.
