Ms Enever will start in the role on July 20.
She has most recently served as chief executive of Robinvale District Health Services, where she led initiatives focused on strengthening local healthcare delivery and community engagement.
Board chair Sarah Chaplin said she brought significant experience in rural healthcare leadership and a strong commitment to community-focused care.
“We are delighted to welcome Ro to Benalla Health,” Ms Chaplin said.
“Her experience leading Robinvale District Health Services, combined with her clinical background in nursing, positions her strongly to lead our organisation into its next chapter.”
Ms Enever said she was looking forward to joining the Benalla community.
“I am excited to be joining Benalla Health and working with staff, clinicians and the community to continue delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare services,” she said.
“I am passionate about rural health and look forward to building strong local partnerships.”
Ms Chaplin also acknowledged the contributions of outgoing chief executive Jackie Kelly and interim chief executive Donovan Jacka.
“On behalf of the board, I would like to sincerely thank Jackie Kelly for her leadership and service, and Donovan Jacka for his steady guidance and commitment to Benalla Health during the interim period,” she said.
Ms Chaplin said Benalla Health looked forward to formally welcoming Ms Enever in July.
