A Benalla Health spokesperson said it surpassed the hopes of both the event organising committee and the executive team.
“It was a truly special evening that brought together our community — including staff, consumers, board members and members of the Hospital Auxiliary — for an unforgettable night,” the spokesperson said.
Guests enjoyed exquisite cuisine, a wide selection of beverages, lively auctions and raffles, and were entertained by The Baker Boys band, who had the dance floor buzzing all night long.
More than just a fundraiser, the event was a vibrant celebration of community spirit and togetherness.
Attendees embraced the evening’s elegance, dazzling in glamorous attire and sharing in the joy of the occasion.
“While the core purpose was to generate support for vital surgical equipment to enhance our keyhole surgery capabilities, the night also served as a wonderful opportunity to connect, relax and enjoy each other’s company,” the spokesperson said.
“The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter, music, and heartfelt moments — creating memories that will be cherished by all who attended.
“A heartfelt thank you to Donovan Jacka, who welcomed everybody with grace and charm.
“We also extend our gratitude to our auctioneers for the night from Ray White Real Estate, for their engaging and energetic contributions.
“To Bree and Julian Goldhammar from Goldhammer Catering, your outstanding culinary talents have once again surpassed all expectations.
“Finally, we appreciate the staff at the North Eastern Hotel for sharing their event management expertise and assisting with beverage supplies in conjunction with Pizzini Wines, Travla, Casa and Harry Brown, helping to ensure everything ran smoothly.
