Hitting Friendlies Oval on Tuesday night, players were split into age groups rather than teams, ranging from under-12s to under-17s.

The alternate football program is set to be monitored week-to-week to ensure it is being delivered within the AFL protocols and will end before the September school holidays.
A COVID-19 safety officer will be present at each training session, while the following restrictions will be in place:
● Players must sign in at the registration station on arrival;
● Players must sanitise hands before and after training;
● Players must bring their own drink bottle;
● Only players and designated coaches are allowed on the oval, while parents and spectators must abide by public gathering restrictions and be spread out around the ground;
● Training equipment will be cleaned and sanitised after each training session;
● Change rooms will remain closed; and
● Players are required to stay home if they feel unwell.

Training sessions will be held each Tuesday, with under-12s training from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm, followed by under-14s from 5.15 pm to 6.15 pm and under-17s from 5.45 pm to 6.45 pm.
