The event, which opens the doors of the Faithfull Campus to families, local groups, prospective and past students, and community members, is a celebration of the significant growth the college has made — not just in facilities and curriculum, but in culture, community ties and student engagement.
Principal of the Faithfull Campus, Karlie McGrath, said the Open Day was much more than a school tour — it’s a chance to reflect on how far the campus has come in recent years and to share its vision for the future.
“Inviting the community helps us show the community the growth the college has made and moving forward, we are growing together; reflecting the journey we’ve taken as a campus and as a community,” Ms McGrath said.
“It’s a wonderful chance for the Benalla community to see the opportunities our students have here at the college and to experience a day on campus.
“There will be displays highlighting the school’s progress, along with the opportunity to see the work our students have produced across a wide range of studies — including VET Automotive and VET Building, Science, Hands On Learning and many more fabulous opportunities our students get.”
Over the past two years, the Faithfull Campus has undergone major improvements, including new purpose-built learning spaces, expanded Vocational Education and Training options, technology upgrades and a stronger focus on personalised learning pathways.
These developments have been shaped by collaboration between staff, students, families, and the broader community — a true example of Benalla P-12 College and the Benalla Community growing together.
The Open Day on Wednesday, June 11 will offer hourly guided tours, departing from the flags in front of the administration office.
Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the school with leaders, see the growth of the college and gain insight into the vibrant daily life of the Faithfull Campus.
The college is encouraging all families considering enrolment to attend, as well as past students and local residents who wish to reconnect and see the college’s growth in action.
The day promises a welcoming, informative experience for all.
Bookings for tours are essential and can be made by contacting the college office on 5761 2777.
In addition to showcasing current achievements, the college is also reaching out to the community for help in preserving its rich history.
As part of its archive project, Benalla P-12 College is seeking historical photographs from any of its campuses.
Community members with photos are invited to share them by emailing archive@benallap12.vic.edu.au.
The Faithfull Campus is proud to celebrate how far it has come — and to look ahead to an even brighter future.
The Open Day offers the perfect opportunity to see how Benalla P-12 College and its community are growing together.
