Benalla RSL gifted handcrafted plaque from Woodies

Benalla RSL Secretary Heather Hartland said the local woodworking group is fully inclusive and welcoming.

“(Members can) learn woodworking skills while enjoying the camaraderie.

“We hope to encourage our veterans to explore the opportunities at the Woodies, and thank both Mike and Bob for taking the time to explain it to us.”

Ms Hartland said Mike and Bob came to the meeting with a “beautiful, hand-carved, plaque”, which Bob had made.

“Thank you to the Woodies for this amazing gift,” she said.
