The money will be used to replace sheep and goat show pens, that will allow the pavilion to be used for multiple purposes.
Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes announced local recipients of the 2025 Agricultural and Pastoral Society Grants Program, supporting projects that bring communities together and promote Victoria’s agricultural industry.
“Helping regional communities thrive is at the heart of these grants,” she said.
“As a government, we’re proud to support initiatives that deliver real benefits and enable society to create events that bring their communities together.”
Other local projects include:
- Yea Agricultural Pastoral and Horticultural Society will use the funding to purchase grandstand seating
- Alexandra Pastoral and Agricultural Association Inc will use the funding to construct permanent working dog trial yards, enabling it to conduct more trials throughout the year and reduce manual handling
- Mansfield Agricultural and Pastoral Society will use the funding to replace its main feed water line to the showgrounds
- Euroa Pony Club Association Inc will use the funding for the construction of a new arena – allowing greater accessibility and improved safety for livestock and riders
- Euroa Agricultural Society Inc will use the funding to upgrade toilet facilities

The program supports projects and activities promoting agriculture, improving infrastructure and upgrading amenities for community use during annual agricultural shows and events – ensuring these shows remain a vibrant hub for families, volunteers, and visitors alike.
