A major exhibition featuring Greater Shepparton’s achievements, opportunities and future potential is being held at Victoria’s Parliament house in Melbourne.

The exhibition is being held in the iconic Queen’s Hall and brings the region’s people, industries and projects together to give state representatives first-hand access to the innovation, resilience and ambitions that drive the region’s success.
Representatives from Greater Shepparton’s business, agricultural, manufacturing, transport, education, tourism, arts, health and community sectors have travelled south for the occasion.
Greater Shepparton City Council is hosting the exhibition, which features local products and innovations that highlight the region’s strength in food production, manufacturing and tourism.
The exhibition opened on Tuesday, September 8 and concludes on Thursday, September 10.
Deputy Mayor Geoff Akers said it was an opportunity to advocate for the investment needed to support future growth.
“We have the land, the workforce, the industries and the opportunities to help drive the next chapter of growth for our state,” Cr Akers said.
“What we need now is continued investment in the infrastructure and services that will unlock that potential.”
Greater Shepparton’s produce was featured in the region’s showcase at Parliament House in Melbourne.
