Nearby at the Visitor Information Centre on Mair St, Stephanie Cartledge’s Shared Waters presents an intimate exploration of native wildlife and local waterways, encouraging deeper reflection on environment and place.
For a limited time at the Benalla Town Hall, acclaimed Melbourne-based street artist Ling presents The Allure of Gold: All That Glitters. This sculptural installation and photographic exhibition explores how value is constructed and perceived in contemporary society, reflecting on materialism and the fleeting nature of status.
The program is further strengthened by the So to Speak creative conference, which has grown from a fringe offering into a key pillar of the festival.
Leading the 2026 speaker line-up is internationally renowned artist RONE, who will unpack the artistic and logistical thinking behind his monumental installations.
He’s joined by multidisciplinary artist Callum Preston, creator of immersive cultural exhibitions such as Video Land and Milk Bar.
“‘So to Speak’ is about moving beyond the surface of the wall,” Festival curator Simon Grant said.
