For more than 30 years the foundation has remembered Victoria Police members who have died in the line of duty by supporting hospital projects.
When the coronavirus pandemic occurred and the shortage of suitable personal protective equipment and respirators became evident, the foundation launched an appeal to the public to help supply such equipment.
A foundation spokesperson said despite the altered economic environment created by quarantine conditions and job losses, they felt it was important to support Victoria’s hospitals at what was a time of great need.

“The proceeds (were then) directed to their preferred nominated hospital in their local area.”

“From all of this, for this area, we are so pleased to advise you all that eight hospitals have benefited from this appeal.
