Bring your pets for a special blessing in Benalla

A church spokesperson said this coming together celebrated the bond between humans and animals, recognising their importance in our lives, the joy they bring and us all being a part of God’s creation.

“The blessing offers prayers for the animal’s continued health and life,“ the spokesperson said.

“All in the community are welcome to bring along their pets, photos of their pets, or a teddy bear, if they prefer, to be blessed by the Reverend Mel Clark.

“This service continues to inspire compassion and stewardship, reminding us of the profound ways animals enrich our lives.”
