This year’s awards have a diverse range of categories to help propel local businesses forward, including Business of the Year.
Previously won by Coolabah Turf in 2019, the Business of the Year recognises a business that has “demonstrated outstanding achievements, performance and innovation”.
In the past, Coolabah Turf general manager Scott Spedding said the three wins the business earned in 2019 had helped the business grow its profile within the community.
“We’re a business that exists out on a farm and a farm-based business, so I think a lot of people in the community didn’t realise how large an employer we were or the size and scale of the business before,” Mr Spedding said.
