Club gets cosy to freeze out MND

Kyabram Club staff have tossed their beanies into the ring, leading the fundraising charge against motor neurone disease in Kyabram.

Fight MND, founded in 2014, is dedicated to finding a cure for motor neurone disease — a devastating condition that progressively affects a person’s ability to control their muscles.

The not-for-profit organisation was co-founded by Neale Daniher, a former AFL player and coach who was diagnosed with MND in 2013.

Kyabram Club general manager Ben Offard was determined to rally his team, as he knows most people have a connection to the devastating disease.

“In a show of solidarity and support, the Kyabram Club has proudly purchased a Fight MND beanie for each of their staff and board members,” he said.

“This small gesture aims to contribute to the fight against MND and raise awareness for those bravely facing this devastating illness.

“The (Kyabram Club) also extends its heartfelt thanks to the Daniher family for their tireless efforts in shining a light on MND through Neale’s courageous battle.

“Together, we can help freeze MND.”
