Cobram Community House brightened up a wet and windy week with a special Christmas in July lunch.
The event saw roughly 200 people attend, some in creative and festive outfits, on Friday, July 7.
CCH chief executive officer Christine Osborne said that the idea behind the Christmas lunch was to do something fun during the winter weather.
“We hold a community lunch on the first Friday of the month and decided to brighten up the dreary weather by hosting a traditional Christmas lunch,” she said.
Food served comprised of the traditional Christmas roast and a dessert of Christmas pudding with custard and ice cream.
Gabriel Garcia from the Courier went along to packed event to eat and take in the merriment.
