The Women in Water Luncheon, hosted by Murray Irrigation and Southern Growers, will be held at The Bend in Toc on Thursday, October 15, bringing together women involved in all areas of irrigated agriculture from across the region.
Running from 10am to 2pm, the event will offer attendees the chance to hear from industry speakers, share experiences and build valuable connections with other women working in the sector.
And best of all, it doubles as a fundraiser for Can Assist.
The program will feature three information sessions covering topics designed to help women strengthen their businesses, enterprises and careers.
A practical session on artificial intelligence will demonstrate simple ways AI can be incorporated into everyday business administration, helping save time and improve efficiency across routine tasks.
Attendees will also learn more about the services and support available through Murray Irrigation, including ways water users can maximise the value of their water, infrastructure and farming operations.
The day will conclude with a panel discussion exploring the opportunities available to women in irrigated agriculture, as well as the support networks, leadership pathways and industry changes shaping the future of the sector.
Following the presentations, guests will enjoy a two-course lunch and networking opportunity, providing plenty of time for conversation and connection.
Tickets are $22.50 per person and include lunch and a drink on arrival.
Proceeds from ticket sales, excluding the $2.50 administration fee, will be donated to local Can Assist branches, supporting the vital work they undertake for regional families.
Places are limited and bookings are now open via eventbrite.
