Cooinda raises $638 from democracy sausage sizzle

A Cooinda spokesperson thanked everyone who visited the sausage sizzle on Saturday.

“It raised $638,” the spokesperson said.

“The community’s generosity is much appreciated with all proceeds contributing to a number of health and wellbeing activities for the enjoyment of residents.

“Those include local in-house entertainers who perform at Friday Happy Hour and the monthly birthday party and bus outings.”

Cooinda’s Julie Folan, who helped run the barbecue on the day, asked to thank Rettkes Carrier St Meats for donating the sausages.
